One of our favorite company of creatives, Commune, has upped an already rousing ante with a new shop,
new website and other channels.
The design collective founded in 2004 by Roman Alonso, Steven Johanknecht and siblings Pamela and Ramin Shamshir taps an extensive black book of top-tier collaborators to realize commercial and residential projects that every time manage to bear an individual stamp. They do it all, too, from a table to an entire corporate identity. Recent works include the
Opening Ceremony shop in Tokyo and
Ace Hotel in Palm Springs.
The four have the most amazing taste, so we're always in awe of what they come up with next. Case in point: These two handcrafted products now featured in their onsite shop at their West Hollywood compound and
online.
