Following the Obama fundraising fashionathon, met up with my former assistant Robert Barr for a glass of wine at Indochine and a curry in the Village. Robert was buzzing from the good reviews, as well as a
great piece by Suzy Menkes for the International Herald Tribune, on his boss, Yeohlee Teng. Yesterday's presentation was youthful, sexy, and even
WWD was aflutter on those points. Having done his part as the brand publicist, we celebrated, albeit mildy since he, like so many folks in this biz, got hit with the fashion week bug. (And no amount of antibiotics for fish can replace a good night's rest!) So, given that even pal Graham had a 6 a.m. shoot with Ellen Von Unwerth, we made it a relatively early night.
